19.) This is my favorite track on this compilation done by the most talented musician I have every worked with, Mike Tustison (RIP). I found this recording in my Logic files. I don’t remember if I made any of this beat or if it was all Mike, but I think it was all him. There are no loops here. We tracked all this in a linear fashion without quantization, so the drum pattern is mostly on the backbeat outside of the 4/4 rhythm of modern pop. I expect this song to challenge the listener. It challenges me too. I find myself hypnotized and haunted by this track.
